It is quite known to all that multiple initiatives are being taken so as to conserve our environment and safeguard it, opting to solar energy over other forms of energies is one such commendable initiative. Solar energy is the energy that we process  from the sun and use it to produce electricity. It is a renewable source of energy which is available in abundance and is efficient enough to satisfy our energy requirements for centuries and millennials to come.

Solar energy is stored and then used to produce electricity for general use. The energy is stored in what we call solar panels. Premier Energies is a reputed solar cell manufacturing company in India among other companies that manufacture different types of solar panels of which we shall talk later.

How is solar energy synthesised and used to produce electricity?

Solar energy is extracted from the sun rays and stored in solar panels. These panels use the energy emitted by the sun to produce electricity. The sun is said to be the biggest star in our solar system and also in our galaxy, it's a big fireball that constantly radiates energy.

The sun rays act as carriers of the sun's energy which are further trapped and stored in what we call solar panels. These solar panels then synthesise the trapped energy from the sun rays and produce electricity and make it available for our use. When the sun rays fall on the panels, the electrons tend to displace and leave vacant places on the surface of the panel which are then in turn filled with the energy trapped from the sun which is further processed to produce electricity.

What are the different types of solar panels?

Following are the different types of solar panels.

Monocrystalline Solar Panels:

Also called single-crystal solar panels are made up of pure silicon which adds to its purity and efficiency, but a lot of silicon is wasted in its manufacturing and hence making it expensive.

Polycrystalline Solar Panels:

As the name suggests these are made up of more than one silicon crystal. These are affordable but less efficient than the first one.

Passive Emitter and Rear Cell panels:

These are an improvement of the conventional Monocrystalline cells. Here a passivation layer is added to the rear surface of the cell and hence it enhances the efficiency of the cells.

Thin-film Panels:

These are made of materials like Cadmium telluride, Amorphous silicon and Copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS).

There are a number of firms that manufacture solar panels in India and Premier Energies is a leading solar module manufacturer in India and they are committed to providing their customers with an enhanced experience and a quality service. Premier Energies was established back in 1995 and the firm has outdone itself in its exceptional work in the industry which makes it preferable over any other energy firm. Their credibility is displayed in their service itself which is why they are where they are.
