Former national team striker Na Sang-ho (28), who played for FC Seoul last year, is heading back to the Japanese stage.

Machida Zelvia, who was promoted to J1 (1st division) of Japanese professional soccer in the 2024 season, announced the recruitment of Na Sang-ho through its website on the 4th. Machida took first place out of 22 teams in J2 (Division 2) last year and was promoted to Division 1 for the first time since its founding.

Na Sang-ho said through the Machida club, "Congratulations on the team's promotion to J1. I am both excited and happy to be a member of the new team. I will show great play to contribute to the team's success as a member of Machida." “I will,” he said.

Na Sang-ho, who debuted on the professional stage in Gwangju in 2017, experienced the Japanese stage wearing an FC Tokyo uniform in 2019. Afterwards, he played in Seongnam and wore the Seoul uniform ahead of the 2021 season.

He scored the most goals on the team in the 2023 season with 12 goals (4th in scoring) and 4 assists, but he qualified as a free agent and eventually left Seoul and transferred to Machida.

Na Sang-ho won a gold medal as a member of the national team at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games and also participated in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
