Copyright Policy
Last updated: December 27, 2025
At LivePositively, we deeply respect creativity, originality, and intellectual effort. As a global community of writers and readers, we believe that protecting original work is essential to fostering trust, inspiration, and positive change.
This Copyright Policy explains how we handle reports of alleged copyright infringement in full compliance with UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights. For more on data and user rights, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
By using LivePositively — a platform operated by Live Positively FZCO and headquartered in Dubai, UAE — you agree that all copyright matters are governed exclusively by UAE law.
1. Our Commitment to Creators
We encourage original expression. Every article, story, or idea you share on LivePositively belongs to you. We also expect all members to respect the intellectual property of others. Copying, republishing, or misrepresenting someone else’s work as your own violates both our community values and UAE copyright law.
2. How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe your original work has been published on LivePositively without your permission, you may submit a Copyright Notice to our designated Copyright Agent.
Your notice must include:
Your full name and contact details (email, phone, and address)
Proof of ownership (e.g., link to original publication, copyright registration, or other evidence)
Clear identification of the infringing content (URL of the LivePositively post)
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law
A declaration that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Send your notice to: [email protected] (We prioritize electronic submissions for speed and traceability.)
Note: False or malicious claims may result in legal liability under Article 52 of UAE Law No. 38 of 2021. If uncertain, consult a legal professional.
3. How We Respond to Copyright Notices
Upon receiving a complete and valid notice:
We review the claim within 5 working days
If infringement appears likely under UAE law, we temporarily restrict access to the content
We notify the author and share your notice (with personal details redacted for privacy)
We may permanently remove the content if no valid defense is provided
We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
4. Submitting a Counter-Notice
If your content is restricted and you believe it was done in error (e.g., you hold the rights or your use is lawful under UAE law), you may submit a Counter-Notice.
It must include:
Your full name and contact details
Identification of the restricted content (URL)
A statement that the restriction resulted from error or misidentification
We will forward your counter-notice to the complainant. If no legal action is initiated, we may restore your content in accordance with UAE legal principles.
5. Our Legal Framework
This policy operates under:
UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights
Relevant provisions of the UAE Penal Code on intellectual property
UAE principles of moral rights and fair use in limited educational or personal contexts
