Welcome to LivePositively — a global platform where readers and writers share uplifting stories, mindful ideas, and perspectives that spark positive change.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how our community works, so we can all create, connect, and grow with respect, integrity, and kindness.

By using LivePositively — whether you read, write, or browse — you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and (if applicable) our Membership Terms of Service.” If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or publish content.

1. Your Role in Our Community

You’re not just a user — you’re a co-creator of this space. With that comes responsibility:

  • Share original, human-written content only (AI-generated text is not permitted),

  • Engage with respect, empathy, and honesty,

  • Respect UAE laws, including:

    • Federal Law No. 34 of 2021 on Cybercrimes,

    • Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright,

    • Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 on Data Protection,

  • Do not use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or scripts to access, extract, or interfere with LivePositively.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these principles.

2. Your Account

  • Keep your email and password secure. Don’t share them.

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when signing up.

  • Inactivity: Accounts unused for 24+ months may be delated.

  • You’re fully responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Your Content & Our License

You own all content you create — including articles, comments, bio, profile information, and images.

By publishing on LivePositively, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

  • Display, distribute, and optimize your content (e.g., for mobile, desktop, or email digests),

  • Promote your work within our platform (e.g., in newsletters or topic collections).

We never sell your content or claim ownership.

This license ends when you delete your post — except for:

  • Lawful backups,

  • Content already shared or saved by other users.

Do not post:

  • Content you don’t own or haven’t licensed,

  • Material that violates UAE law (e.g., hate speech, defamation, false news, immorality, or threats to public order, religious values, or national security). For copyright-specific rules, see our Copyright Policy.

4. Our Commitment to You

  • We act promptly on valid copyright and content violations,

  • Do not sell or rent your personal data,

  • We moderate with care — prioritizing education and dialogue over immediate removal when appropriate.

6. No Guarantees (But We Try Our Best)

LivePositively is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service,

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content,

  • That all content will align with your views or expectations.

You use the platform at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by UAE law, Live Positively FZCO—including its owners, officers, and employees—will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, goodwill, or reputation arising from your use of our services.

8. Termination

  • You may delete your account anytime — your personal data will be removed within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements).

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, UAE law, or endanger community safety — with or without prior notice.

  • Survival: Sections on intellectual property, liability, governing law, and disclaimers remain in effect after termination.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Cyberattacks or security breaches,

  • Natural disasters,

  • Government actions or legal restrictions,

  • Internet or power outages.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or UAE law.

  • We’ll notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes,

  • The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version,

  • Your continued use of LivePositively after changes means you accept them.

  • If you disagree, please stop using the platform.
