If you've ever wondered how a bright, curious kid can fall apart over fractions, you're not alone. The problem isn't attitude—it's wiring. Some brains process numbers differently. That difference has a name: dyscalculia. As common as dyslexia—affecting roughly one in ten learners—dyscalculia remains one of education's least-recognized learning differences.

Over time, something shifts. The student who used to shut down starts explaining their reasoning. Parents stop holding their breath at homework time. Confidence sneaks back in and takes root.
